Each week, I try to create a new bliss ball flavour. This week, I bought one too many apples. So, I thought I would make an apple flavoured bliss ball. I know cinnamon goes really well with apples. So, I came up with this apple and cinnamon protein bliss ball recipe. And the flavour combination did not disappoint. So, I am sharing the recipe with you to spread the love 🙂

Please use the table below as a guide for the calorie and macro information.

Ingredients
- 1 Granny Smith apple, grated (you can use any apple that you like);
- 1 cup rolled oats;
- 4 tbsp. vanilla protein powder;
- 1/2 cup walnuts;
- 1/4 cup raw almonds;
- 1/3 cup raisins or sultanas;
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds;
- 1 tbsp. hemp seeds;
- 4 tbsp. pumpkin seeds;
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (you can add less if you do not like cinnamon as much as I do); and
- 3 tbsp. water (you may need less or more depending on the amount of water your grated apple holds).
Method
- In a food processor, place all the ingredients except the grated apple, pumpkin seeds and water and process until it resembles cookie crumbs;
- Add the grated apple and pumpkin seeds to the mixture and process until well combined;
- Add water one tbsp. at a time until the mixture starts to resemble a cookie dough. I needed 3 tbsp. of water;
- Once the mixture resembles a cookie dough, roll into bliss balls using a tablespoon as a guide to the size of balls;
- Enjoy 🙂
