This is my favourite protein bliss balls that I have created to date. It taste just like chocolate fudge but without the same amount of sugar and saturated fat. It is chocolatey, fudgy and gooey. 👅 And I think they will make the perfect treat/snack for those of you looking for a healthy alternative to a Christmas treat/ snack. They also make the perfect Christmas gift ideas for those of you who like to make your own Christmas gifts 😍

Makes 35
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups white beans, cooked (I used cannelinni beans);
- 1.5 cups oat bran or oat flour;
- 1 cup chocolate protein powder;
- 2 tbsp cacao powder;
- 2 tbsp honey;
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips;
- 1 tbsp tahini;
- Water; and
- Some shredded coconut, hemp seeds or chia seeds for rolling the balls 🙂
Method
- In a food processor, place the white beans and process until it reaches a smooth consistency;
- Add the oat bran, protein powder, cacao powder, honey and tahini and process until well combined;
- Add the chocolate chips to the mixture and process until well combined;
- Add water 1 tbsp at a time to the mixture and process until the mixture resembles a cookie dough;
- Roll into balls and roll in shredded coconut, hemp seeds or chia seeds if you fancy;
- Enjoy as a mid morning or afternoon snack or give as a Christmas present 🙂
