ABC (Apple, Broccoli & Cranberry) Salad with a Maple Tahini Dressing

Most people think eating healthily is boring. But I beg to differ! I eat healthily 80% of the time and my meals are far from boring. My plate is always so colourful with a variety of vegetables (as you can see from my Instagram pictures) and tasty with a variety of seasonings, dressings and sauces that I create. I rarely use store-bought dressings/seasonings/sauces. I believe if I can buy a jar of sauce/dressing, I can also make it myself. Yes, it takes more time to make, but 99% it tastes better and does not contain any preservatives and nasties. If I don’t have time to make a dressing for my salad, I just squeeze some lemon juice, add a little olive oil and crack some black pepper and there you have it, a simple and quick dressing 😊

A few weeks ago, I wanted to make a quick salad and didn’t have too many fresh vegetables in my fridge. This resulted in me making this ABC salad with a quick maple tahini dressing. This salad tasted delicious that I have it several times more. So, I would like to share this quick salad recipe with all of you 😊 Enjoy 🥰

Delicious ABC salad with maple tahini dressing 🤤

Serves 2-4 depending if you are having this salad as a side dish or main meal


For the salad

  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets and steamed;
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced;
  • 1 tbsp silvered almonds;
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds;
  • 2 tbsp dried cranberries;
  • 1 tbsp dries goji berries;
  • Handful of fresh coriander, chopped;
  • Cracked black pepper to taste.

For the dressing

  • 1.5 tbsp tahini;
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice;
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (you can add more if you prefer your salad sweeter); and
  • 2-3 tbsp hot water.


  1. In a small bowl, place all the dressing ingredients and whisk until nice and creamy;
  2. In a large bowl, place all the salad ingredients and pour in the dressing and mix until well combined;
  3. Enjoy with your favourite protein or simply by itself 😊
