Happy weekend, everyone. I hope you are going well. I thought I would give my foodie post a break this week and share with you some pictures of Dorian and I exploring Melbourne during this lockdown period.

We found riding our Bromptons around Melbourne a good way to explore beautiful Melbourne (which was something we did not really do prior to Covid). This mode of transportation also helped us to appropriately social distance and we were able to do our part in keeping our community safe and well. And the best part, it was a form of exercise for us (and an exercise we truly enjoy other than riding into head winds!).

We always brought along a flask of tea (usually some deliciously brewed tea from T2) and some homemade snacks which we would enjoy half way through our ride at some quite spot away from everyone 🙂 It was really nice to simply enjoy the nature and be away from the busy lives we are used to – it was very relaxing.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures I have shared. I would also love to see pictures of the cities you live in especially during this difficult lockdown period. If you were disappointed I did not post another delicious recipe, don’t worry I will be back next week with a recipe (that hopefully you will love). In the meantime, you can explore my blog, Facebook or Instagram where I have over 100 simple, healthy and delicious recipes for you or simply, for some food porn. Also, if you do re-create recipes from my blog, please don’t forget to tag me on Instagram @subz_foodie as I would love to see your re-creations 🙂

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone 🙂

P/S: Appropriate social distancing measures were taken when exploring Melbourne and we also adhered to the Victorian lockdown measures in place during this period. This was our form of exercise (which was one of the reasons we were allowed out of homes during the early lockdown period) and we stayed within a suburb or two from our suburb. As the restrictions eased, we adventured further away from our suburb and enjoyed the beauty of Melbourne 🙂
